The name Italsigma encapsulates the company’s identity and approch.
“Ital” evokes our roots: Italian engineering and manufacturing tradition, internationally recognized for quality, precision, and technical expertise.
“Sigma” has a dual meaning.
On the one hand, it evokes the concept of stress and resistance, which is central to fatigue testing. On the other hand, it is the mathematical symbol for sum: it represents the integration of expertise, technology, and innovation.
Just as the symbol unites multiple elements into a single result, Italsigma combines engineering, research, and industrial know-how to develop reliable testing machines and truly customized solutions.
Since 1975, Italsigma has been designing and manufacturing custom testing systems for materials, components, and products, supporting companies and research centers in the development and validation of performance.
Static and dynamic testing is now an essential tool for verifying strength, durability, and reliability. That is why we develop custom test benches and simulation systems designed to replicate real-world operating conditions.
The company’s core business is the design and construction of large-scale, highly customized test systems for various industrial sectors.
The company has been operating in the material testing sector for over 40 years and is now a leader in the Italian market for customized test systems designed to test products and components in accordance with relevant technical standards.
In July 2025, Italsigma became part of the Dosi Group, strengthening its technical expertise and expanding its opportunities for technological development.
Within the group, Italsigma works in synergy with other industrial entities, including the Giuliani Federico silo division, which specializes in industrial storage and material-handling systems. This integration allows the group to offer complementary expertise and even more comprehensive technical solutions.
